We are very excited to announce that the next blockbuster concert in East Midlands
and South Yorkshire is to be
“BACK TO THE MUSICALS”
Following the fabulous concert of Sing the Ultimate Movies at the Sheffield City Hall
and feedback from Tim and many of you, we decided to change the concert - and as
we celebrate our 10th year - we will be returning to The Royal Centre Nottingham with
a concert of well-known favourites from the Musicals.
With some numbers from our original Sing the Musicals concert , including Les
Miserables and Anthem, this will also feature songs from all that is best in modern
musical theatre, including the new West End sensations Wicked, Hairspray and
Spamalot, and many more, this will be much less challenging when it comes to
learning words (promise), but no less satisfying musically.
Following the feedback from our singers, we are now changing the format of the
rehearsal CD. Instead of having just the music on the CD, you now have the lyrics
too!
Rising costs of keeping the Company in the concert venue, music rights holders
costs, rehearsal venues and general running of the company plus producing the new
upgraded CD has unfortunately meant that we have had to increase the rehearsal
and performance fee. The new fee will be £135.00 including VAT (plus £10 Music
Pack deposit fee if we are not already holding one). We are sure you will all
appreciate the new rehearsal CD.
This will be a very popular concert, so please apply early as we expect this concert to
fill up very quickly after the huge success of Ultimate Movies.

How to Join
The rehearsal and performance fee for this concert is £125.00 (including £18.61 VAT). This fee covers 12 weeks of vocal coaching, a rehearsal CD and the actual performance at the concert. Rehearsals are held weekly, usually on a set night each week, with 3 additional rehearsals held on a weekend afternoon. Be prepared to be flexible, extra rehearsals may be planned if necessary. The week prior to the performance, there will be additional rehearsals
Evening rehearsals are from 7.30pm – 10.00pm
Weekend rehearsals are from 2.00pm – 5.00pm
There is also a once only fee for music packs. Payable as a deposit when you receive your music. CLICK HERE for more information. If you are a new singer and apply on line, unfortunately the music pack deposit cannot be paid on line. Please therefore send your music pack deposit to the office or bring it along to the launch. If you are an existing singer applying on line and have already paid the music pack deposit you do not need to send it again. If you chose to download the application form and send it to the office with a cheque you can include the music pack deposit in your cheque.

TO APPLY:
- Fill out the application form
- EITHER Attach one payment covering the Performance Fee and £10 Music Pack Deposit (if applicable – see attached page). Cheque should be made payable to Sing Live Ltd or use the credit / debit card form provided.
- OR If joining before 15th June 2008 Pay by staged payments. Only available if paying by Credit or Debit card. Fill in the Stage Payment Form and send with the completed application. Payments will be taken as follows:
- £50 on receipt of application (+£10 music pack deposit if applicable)
- £50 on 31st July 2008
- £35 on 31st August 2008
- Enclose a Stamped Addressed C5 Envelope for the return of your rehearsal schedule
- If you need a Security ID card, (all Sing Live singers need this for security reasons), please send a passport sized photo with your full name on the reverse, an additional stamped addressed envelope and include £6 with your performance fee.
- Put everything in an envelope and send it to: Sing Live East Midlands/South Yorkshire, 62 Thirsk Rd, Northallerton, North Yorkshire, DL6 1PL.
- Please send one cheque covering the Performance Fee, Music Pack Deposit and ID Card (if applicable)
