Welcome to anyone new looking to join us for the first time, you are in for a treat! We want to bring the big screen to the big stage – with a big choir! We’re bringing a massively exciting programme to your home company here in the North East – it’s packed full of great numbers from the world of musical movies. When we were putting together the programme for our concert at The Royal Albert Hall, we kept saying “There’s enough material here for two concerts” – so here’s the second one! Made up of a couple of the very best, most fun numbers from the Royal Albert Hall concert, and a great selection of the other songs that we just couldn’t fit in – this is the best of movie musicals, with everything from timeless classics from the Golden Age of Film, right up to modern shows that are only just making it into cinemas now. All-new arrangements and that unbelievable wall of sound that is Sing Live North East – who could ask for anything more?!

We’re covering everything from the flippant to the tragic, from the classic to the up-todate. We have big medleys from Disney films like “Aladdin” and “Beauty and the Beast”, we have traditional musicals like “Oliver!” and “South Pacific”, and we have upbeat, big vocal numbers from “Sister Act” and “High School Musical”. The opportunities for soloists are equally wide-ranging – the choice of songs is virtually endless! We want to build on the great triumph you have had in your Big Band concert and continue to raise the standard at which we all perform – come along and be a part of our success
story! But be quick as places are limited.

How to Join

The performance fee for this concert is £135.00 (including £20.11 VAT). This fee covers
your vocal coaching, a rehearsal CD and the actual performance at the concert.

Evening rehearsals are from 7.30pm – 10.00pm

There is also a once only fee for music packs. Payable as a deposit when you receive your music. CLICK HERE for more information. If you are an existing singer applying on line and have already paid the music pack deposit you do not need to send it again. If you choose to download the application form and send it to the office with a cheque you can include the music pack deposit in your cheque.
