Music Pack Deposit Scheme

What is it and how does the scheme work?

It is very important that all music is returned to Sing Live after each event. For this reason we now operate a Music Pack Deposit scheme.
When you apply to join SingLive for your first concert, we will ask you to pay a deposit for your music pack. This pack is yours to use for all rehearsals, and you may make as many notes / marks on it as you wish.
At the end of the rehearsal period, we ask you to return the pack to us (in the same envelope as it was originally issued to you).
The Music Pack Deposit will be retained by Sing Live for you to use as the Music Pack Deposit for your next concert.
Assuming you have returned your music to us correctly from the last concert, when you join SingLive for your next concert, you will not be asked to provide another deposit.
The scheme works as below:

  • The music pack deposit is £10
  • It will need to be paid in full, up front, when applying for the first event.
  • This payment needs to be in cleared funds (cheque, credit card, etc) and included with the performance fee.
  • This deposit entitles that person to receive EVERY music pack needed whilst part of SingLive.
  • Music packs NEED TO BE RETURNED however, they can be marked up during rehearsals and do not need to be cleaned before being returned.
  • If you fail to return your music after a concert, you will need to pay a new deposit when signing up for your next concert
  • When handing out music packs at a launch, we keep a list of all singers who have received a pack.
  • When receiving music packs back, Sing Live maintain records of all persons who have returned their pack.
  • After each concert SingLive will identify those people who have not returned their pack.
  • A reminder will be sent if the pack has still not been received within 10 days of the event date.
  • Failure to return the pack following that reminder will result in the loss of the music pack deposit and will mean that a further £10 music pack deposit is required when applying for the next event.
  • When applying for a concert, if no deposit is provided or, if a previous pack has not been returned, the application will be rejected unless another deposit is provided.
  • Should a person wish leave SingLive permanently, and have returned all music to us, that person must write to SingLive giving bank account details – and the Music Pack Deposit will be refunded directly to the bank account.
