So yesterday it was 1.2.12 and today 2.2.12 – it’s like playing a game of pit! Pit is a card game if you haven’t played it where you bid for commodities – it’s very loud and frenzied and of course great fun! It’s such a shame we don’t make time to play cards and board games – I love them, especially scrabble!

We certainly don’t have time for cards or board games here in the office! We hardly have time to eat our lunch! I’m still busy with press releases – I’ve found some great photos which I can use to send out! It’s just so time consuming looking at them all as of course you get very distracted! Jasmin is busy with merchandise and Teresa’s desk is always full of finance. Steve was with us on Tuesday and finally got home at 9.45 pm! A very long day for him, but not all spent in the office, several hours spent in a service station with a broken down car!

So we have the first rehearsal for Sorrento on Saturday. Yes, we go NEXT month! Something else which has come round very quickly! If anyone still wants to go it’s not too late, we have had some last minute additions already!

Where did January go? We have to give in our number of singers for The Night of 1000 Voices® in just over a week’s time so ‘February’ has always seemed like such a long time in the future! Now, suddenly it is upon us!

Not only that though, of course we have 2 concerts coming up – so a very busy month for us here in the office. However, one person couldn’t wait for February and that’s Jasmin who is going on holiday for two weeks on Sunday – so make sure you’ve ordered your merchandise before she goes! She is sooooo excited – counting down the ‘sleeps!’

We still need more singers for the Royal Albert Hall for the pods in West Midlands, South Yorkshire and Northern Ireland so do please send in your application forms if you know you definitely want to do it. We really would like to run a pod in every area!

How lucky am I?

Well, to be able to stand on stage with 'simply the best'! .....says it all!

I was thrilled with our concert in Belfast and could only hope that we would equal its success - well you did on Saturday in Birmingham. There was an excitement in the audience which you could feel the moment you all walked out! You were energised and this fed the audience. With just over 200 singers, including 3 from Northern Ireland, the sound was superb. Proud! oh, yes I was - what else could I be! We have a great musical team, who work so hard to prepare you; you work so hard to remember everything - and you did - but most importantly you took the audience on an emotional journey! You did what came naturally - you found the meaning in each song, found the emotion inside yourselves - and sang, simply sang!

Thank you for each and every moment you gave to me, to each other, to our team and to your friends and family in the audience. INSPIRATIONAL!
